The Commander Unit platform controls and communicates with the plugged-in monitoring units, accommodating up to 32 channels for shock pulse or vibration measurement. The platform may also be equipped with monitoring units for analogue signals and analog output. Four rpm inputs and four digital status outputs are standard equipment.
A powerful floating point Digital Signal Processor (DSP) enables very fast measurement and signal conditioning and extremely high levels of accuracy and repeatability.
The system communication software LinX™ is dedicated to triggering, controlling and filtering measurements and data. LinX handles all messages between the database and one or more Commander Units. The Field Service Software (FSS), offering advanced field service and support capabilities, makes Intellinova a robust and maintenance friendly system. FSS is also the graphical user interface to LinX.
IntelliLogic™ is the collective name for the advanced programming logic, including features such as conditional and triggered measurements, filtering of measurement data, measurement for spectrum analysis under alarm condition only, and multiple-level system and measurement alarms.
Intellinova implements OPC™ Data Access, a worldwide standard for exchanging process control data. With the OPC set of standards, data can be transferred from any data source to any OPC compliant application. Using a client-server architecture, OPC is a plug-and-play solution for system interconnectivity. Combine different measuring techniques as required:
Installing the system does not require setting up a dedicated Intellinova network. The system communicates via TCP/IP over wired or wireless standard Ethernet connection and can be connected to an existing local area network (LAN). As the Commander Units operate independently of each other, any number may be installed.
Intellinova is backwards compatible with other SPM products and may therefore be integrated with an existing SPM solution, sharing the same database. It can also be run parallel to portable measuring equipment such as Leonova Infinity.
Intellinova comes in different shapes and sizes. Existing hardware installations, space limitations and various other factors may influence your requirements. The Commander and monitoring units therefore can be mounted in any of the following enclosures:
Cabinet 500 x 600 x 210 mm (19.7” x 23.6” x 8.3”) for standard installation
Cabinet 480 x 480 x 155 mm (18.9” x 18.9” x 6.1”) for installation in narrow spaces
19 inch rack mounting for space-preserving installation of multiple units
Portable MIL standard case, e.g. for test installations or temporary monitoring of critical machines
